Assassin

In every human megacity, together with the official guilds and factions like engineers, medics, or cooks, there are those other guilds and organizations that operate with significantly less publicity. Some of them have unwritten agreements with the city governments to be left alone in their shadowy activities in exchange for certain sensitive services, while others even manage to not cross the brink of legality, at least ostensibly. Sometimes even the Lord Commanders hire certain operatives from them as mercenaries to aid the expeditions in the plagued lands.

 

In the field, assassins take the role of snipers and scouts. They are deadly at a longer distance and can shoot cybernetic tracking probes whose sensors provide limited scouting capability around the struck unit. On the other hand, assassins do not feel comfortably in close quarters with the enemy.

 

 

Abilities:

Sharpshooter (passive):

The assassin has a big distance bonus. The damage he does is huge at his maximum range but quickly falls back to average in proximity.

skillExpose (passive):

The assassin’s default attack has a chance to place a debuff on the target that decreases the target’s armor for a fixed time.
